32 yards of offense in the first half. That is the greatest defensive half in the history of the playoffs given that we had the highest scoring offense in the league this year, and scored the 3rd most points in NFL history. Actually, that may be the best defensive half in the history of the NFL.

Just a reminder that you shouldn't keep blinders on when your defense is the absolute worst in the league. Bob Sutton blows goats - you cannot rely on a pass rush only while ignoring the secondary and expect super bowl wins - this is not surprising. As a matter of fact the only thing that surprises me is that NE isn't up 28-0. Final score 42-20

perhaps only gaining 2 yards on 2 attempts to start the game, failing to get 1 yard for 1st later in the drive and ofcourse the last 2&10 run attempt for no gain have left a bad impression.
