Actually, seniority is much MORE important now than it was before. Under the old system, rep power was almost entirely determined by current rep level. Now, seniority and post count have much more weight in the formula. Most people around here have rep power of less than 25 at the moment, just to give you the idea.

I don't care about my rep, but I'd like my rep power back. It wasn't much, but it was all I had. Now my life is empty and meaningless.
