Shorter just isn't fast enough, physical enough, or have good enough hands. Maybe he can last a few years as a WR5 or WR6 and cash some checks.

I'm a super amateur with my football analysis, but even I could see that all of his highlights were either go routes or cutbacks. I hope we get him, but I think its a lack of route tree and some hands issues that are driving him down.
