There may not be the Knights in the playoffs or the Wild in the 2nd round.... but there's the Stars getting out shot 45-13 early in the 3rd and in a 2-2 tie.

Goalies getting hot are the ultimate playoff wildcard.

Flames Oilers would be a fun series. Blues are my favorite but I got a soft spot for Canadian teams. This Dallas goalie is playing unreal lol.

Yeah, doesn't feel like Canada has had much success in recent years, so I'm good with the Battle of Alberta. Or at least we don't have to watch Dallas anymore.

Flames have ties to Kansas City. They are the Mavericks parent club owned by Lamar Jr

You will want to watch the battle of Alberta , it’s entertaining when they had shitty teams so should be a blast this year.

Man, a minimum of $300/each for lower level in Denver for some of the games... saw game 1 had some in the $225 range that suddenly look like a great deal.

After last season, can't overstate how great the bracket is looking right now, and after a great first round.

I'm sure they won't all be 7 game classics, but none of the grind it out paint drying series like we had almost across the board last year.

The Denver Post's Avs writers are largely useless. They seem to care more about chasing drama than they do about the game.

If you want a more reasoned Avs take, check out DNVR. However, know that it's more akin to Arrowhead Pride than it is the KC Star, so expect a healthy dose of Avs bias. Probably the closest to a true neutral (or close to it) option is Peter Baugh of The Athletic.

BULLETIN BOARD MATERIAL!

Surprised it's not from Kiszla, if he's even still there.

He is, unfortunately. Chambers is mildly better than that, but I've always felt like he's a sports writer who grudgingly got forced into covering the Avs when Dater got canned rather than someone who actually cares about hockey.

I'm already nervous. Feels like this series is going to take a few years off my life. Avs playoffs PTSD sufferer.
