Heres a great writeup about alot of the questions from the movie. Drew really tears it apart on basic story structure and hes right......alot of the character actions just dont make any sense in the context of the movie. Especially in the 3rd act.
Spoiler!

This. All of this is exactly why I cannot recommend somebody go spend money on this. Just wait to rent it and be disappointed.

The movies main problem is that it brings up huge themes and fails to capitalize on them. I wish we got more r rated adult Sci-fi from Hollywood....everything is so dumbed down for the pg13 masses these days. So for that , I applaud it.

I will be interested in seeing the director's cut when it comes out. Hopefully that version can fill in a few more of the blanks raised by the questions in DeBerg's quote.

Seriously. All horror movies feature stupid people doing stupid things. Sure there were some things l didn't like about it. But much like the latest Star Trek movie, a silly Ridley Scott Alien movie is better than no Ridley Scott Alien movie.

Not seeing this in the theater would be a bad move.
It's visually orgasmic.

On a side note, while RPX isn't as big as REAL IMAX, it's more like LieMax size, but I think I prefer it better. REAL IMAX is too big, especially if you have to sit close.

Well, that's the rub. I always recommend people sit in the middle- to upper-half of our theater. I can't watch a film below, say, the 8th row from the top. I have no idea how people sit in the 2nd row. But, yeah, screen size can be kind of misleading; I mean, if you go to a smaller theater, and sit in the 2nd row so the screen fills your field of vision, I'm not really sure how that's physically different from sitting in the middle row of a giant-screen theater.
