Offensive Tackles

I'm not going to overreact as it's only been 2 games but boy has their play has been meh at best. I'm not too worried about Taylor as I am Smith who looked like a declining player in Tampa. Everyone says it was because he was injured and maybe he still is but this has to get better if we're going to repeat as champs

The mess you find in cans behind your local Chinese restaurant is better than Smith and Taylor.

It’s funny you trash one blocking stat while referencing another and far shittier one.

If you watched every snap, the upgrade would be obvious.

Now, go hold yourself while rocking and trying to convince yourself Orlando Brown is good.

Do you even know how PBWR is calculated? And how is that a more useless measure of blocking ability than penalties or total pressures?

The only reason the Bengals' tackles haven't been discussed more is Burrow's getting the ball out quickly on his 3 yd darts. Imagine the total pressures/sacks if he were holding onto the ball as long as Mahomes. Or if they threw nearly as many passes per game.

But if your premise is that Mahomes is clearly superior to Burrow, I agree.

Dumbest post I’ve ever seen on this board, and that’s saying a lot. Our tackle play has been 10x better than it’s been since Fisher/Schwartz were here. You clearly have absolutely no clue what you’re talking about, your team is overrated as shit, and your chili is dog food.

Please take your babbling elsewhere until the Chiefs are ready to crush your soul again.

Aren't you 3-3 against a mediocre to easy schedule so far with a Joey Bridesmaid that looks cooked and happy feet with the pressure that's a coming

Chiefs #1 is pass rush win rate. That has to be a GIGANTIC improvement over last year.

If that's what you meant and it's not a typo, that's my point. It's useless. Bengals oline gets the benefit of more "wins" by getting the ball out quicker and the Chiefs oline gets the benefit of more "wins" because Mahomes is so much more mobile and hard to sack. Even total pressures and sacks can be attributed to the talent of you QB, to a large extent.

My premise is, the Chiefs oline isn't as good as Chiefs fans want to believe and the Bengals oline isn't as bad. More specifically, the tackles. The Chiefs interior is great and the Bengals interior is mediocre at best with Cordell Volson being hot shit covered in garbage and raw sewage, while Karras is having a down year. Alex Cappa is their only decent interior lineman this year. Karras alone has given up at least 5 sacks. The biggest problem they've had is picking up stunts, not maintaining blocks.

I'm looking forward to drinking your salty tears when you're inevitably crying from the Chiefs losing to the Bengals again.

SuckSuckSuck

But i'll throw you a bone. Here's all you need to know. Everyone around here is taking one metric and completely disregarding everything else to make a point. That says all you need to know about the situation.

The bottom line is if KC can win a SB versus the best pass rush since the "85 Bears with OBJ and ****ing Andrew Wiley at tackle, they're fine with Smith and Taylor who are a better duo without question.
