Again don't quote me but it seems that's about the rate. I mean think about all the times you have heard of outbreaks say at meat packing plants; 200 people tested, 95 tested positive but only 6 had symptoms. Reports like that are common.

That literally makes no sense as to why I tested positive. I never had symptoms. I was likely positive and asymptomatic.

And yes, swabbing after a positive is not happening anymore. It’s a 10 day quarantine from positive test without symptoms and minimum 10 day quarantine with 72 hours symptom free if positive with symptoms.

Well like I said, don't quote me. I have seen some state it is only 40%. Either way it's an extremely large amount.

And the study I think referenced while older and was world wide did say 80% of cases were asymptomatic or mild symptoms. so yes, you have to throw in the mild symptoms to get to the 80%ish level being 80% of cases are either asymptomatic or mild symptoms

Several lab companies that process coronavirus tests from Florida have reported incomplete data to the state, officials said Tuesday, creating discrepancies in the numbers public health officials rely on to track the pandemic across communities.

In some cases, labs reported positive test results, but did not report the number of negative test results.

That has the potential to skew a key statistic known as the positivity rate or the percent of tests that are positive. That measure is often used by public health officials to determine how widespread infections are in a community.

State officials acknowledged the problem on Tuesday, but did not provide specifics such as how many labs were reporting incomplete data. They said the problem was centered on small, private labs.

I am content with canceling things like this if it means school doesn't get canceled. I mean kids love their sports but education is what you're there for.

Football as a sport cannot survive cancellations like that.

If the choice is between kids playing a game after school or getting an education then sorry, education first.

They're planning to have football right now in SWMO atleast the officials association is, but it's basically "we're gonna go forth like there will be a season knowing full well it's not likely to happen".
