We may as well have an easy point of reference for people to be able to come back and eat their crow when this all pans out. Everyone always says I knew it all along. Step up and put it down.

I don't think a 2nd round pick is terrible, but I don't think Matt Cassel will pan out in KC. I'll put it down right here, right now. And now I'll start praying I'm wrong.

Forget the trade. The only thing I want you to commit too is whether or not Cassel is a good or bad choice for QBOTF.

What exactly am I trying.

Your main arguments are:

-Thigpen makes much less than Cassel, as the cost benefit should matter to a team that has 40 million plus under the cap.

-That Cassel couldn't muster 22 TDs, when you are trying to tie TD passes to wins.

-That anyone could run the Patriots offense, minimizing Tom Brady's effectiveness and stellar career.

Was I extremely disappointed over the trade? Sure I was, it was like a horse kick to the stomach... Was it the wrong/right trade. I sure hope to God I am wrong, Nothing would suck more to see this trade, which will turn out to be the most important trade in the history of Pioli/Haleys tenure, to turn out Carlesque levels...

I was hoping the Chiefs would step out on a limb and do something unCarl like... I got my hopes up on a drafting and developing a new QB, It was my fault and my fault only... I guess it shows how uneducated I really am when it comes to the Chiefs, I hoped in one and and shit in the other....

They went out and got a young QB who they believe in.

Carl would have acquired Cassel when he was nearing 33.
