Sunday Ticket comes to PS3
Those of you who don't want DirecTV, go out and buy a PS3, then shell out another 340 for Sunday Ticket.

(I'm not sure if Sunday Ticket will be back on the PS3 but saw this and figured I'd post it (inb4welchingbitch comments))

DirecTV told me that Sunday ticket will cost me $225 this year. I had it free last year since I signed up but now I have to pay. What to do, what to do???

Better pre-order that shit now then because they aren't selling a ton of copies with DTV Sunday Ticket from my understanding.

There's been a bit of confusion as to what all this means. Yes, DirecTV is doing the deal because it hopes football fans might ditch their cable provider and sign up with them. But even if you live in an area with DirecTV access, and choose not to subscribe, you may still use the code to watch Sunday Ticket games on your computer, tablet or other mobile device. You don't have to subscribe to DirectTV. (Update: You cannot use the code to access Sunday Ticket through the PS3's app. Lots of folks wondered about that one. Sorry.)
You can oly watch from a PC, tablet or mobile device? No thanks I like my tv and couch on Sunday's. I'll order it through my PS3 again. |

If you buy this, does this mean you definitely can watch on your laptop no matter where you are? Thats all I need to know. |

According to that, you can only use the free pass if you have no access to direct TV in your location. If you do have access to DTV then you get $10 per month off your DTV subscription and the basic sunday ticket for free. BUT you are then tied to a 2 year subscription that you didn't really want in the first place.

I don't know what the issue was, but my quality was always somewhat poor with my PS3. Just finally got Directv, free NFL Sunday Ticket this year. Worth it considering I paid three bills for it last season.

You getting it free or paying this year? Was curious if the price I was quoted is pretty standard.
