I am not buying the narrative that EB was a supposed "bad cop", instilling discipline/focus to compliment Andy's laid back/"good cop" temperament.

The Chiefs had penalty/turnover issues when EB was here.

The problem is personnel... specifically at WR.

Rice is currently projected to end up at 74 receptions for 837 yards and 7 TDs.

The chiefs are missing the discipline that EB provided. This team is undisciplined on offense. Penalties, dropped passes, and laziness of the oline with technique and fundamentals. Andy needs someone to be the bad guy and hold this team accountable. The defense has had better results because they are more disciplined. The dline is relentless in their pass rush. Their technique is better. And all the complaining about WRs, who would you rather have, last years WRs or this years from a personnel standpoint? I’d rather have Rashee Rice than juju. What the chiefs are missing is discipline on offense.
