Off Season Lets Talk Guns
Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.
Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon? Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware? Part 2: http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=293623 Last edited by Bearcat; 07-28-2015 at 06:06 PM.. |

No doubt. I think I would break out the 10 gauge (with lead) just to make sure to kill it off with the first shot.

Well, I pulled the trigger last night:
http://palmettostatearmory.com/index...pinned-a2.html PSA 14.7" Upper Barrel length 14.7" Hammer Forged Barrel Machine Gun Steel 5.56 Nato Chamber 1 in 7" twist Extra-thick Chrome-lined bore and chamber Carbine gas system M4A1 profile M4 feedramps Forged upper The barrel can handle 15,000 rounds. Stripped lowers are supposed to be here soon (double the price), and my M-16 BCG will be here soon, too. The flash hider is unpinned, so I will put a Troy Batterail (the super light one) and a flip up sight on before pinning it. At least I can stop obsessing. They are still available is anyone wants one. |

Oh, we just shot some newly reloaded ZMax 50 grain bullets, $59 per 500 , and they were grouping 1" at 100 through my father's 14.5" M&A AR yesterday (Chrome-Moly barrel).
That is the best bullet deal I have seen in the last 3 years. We should have bought 10K of them instead of 1500. |

It doesn't have a BCG, and that is why it is cheap. M&A Parts has had 14.5's for a while, now, but they are already pinned, and I want the option of adding a flip up front sight, floating rail, etc. before making it permanant. My dad has a 14.5, and I love it. On a side note, my brother got a UTG carry handle/sight and it is pretty nice for a $35 handle. I can't tell the difference between it and a $95 GI handle. |
