The Chiefs rebuild under Herm Edwards....will trade Trent Green to Miami for additional picks (it seems); and are willing to "dangle" LJ for a Hershel Walker/Ricky Williams type deal (but probably just 'posturing' in the end)....so we are left with (at the moment) SEVEN picks in seven rounds.

Brown's a very good player. He helps the line. The Cards can squeeze another year or two out of Edge, and isn't the 08 draft gonna be better for RBs anyway? They can get one next year who will play behind a better line.

Skins trading their pick to MIA makes sense because this is their only pick today, so if they can move down a few spots and pick up another first-day pick, that would be ideal.

If Adrian Peterson had a 400 carry year I'd tell you he didn't have great trade value either......young Rb>veteran RB.

I think Peterson is actually a more talented version of LJ.

I agree. They can get Landry or Nelson later on and get more picks. I highly doubt the Skins keep this pick. If they run out of time, they might pick Quinn and try and trade him as the day goes on.

I wonder if Miami couldn't trade down and still get Quinn around 12 or 13. If they did that they might still feel ok about trading for Green since they would have some extra picks.

I also don't think Tackles should go top 10 unless you think they are going to make 8-10 pro bowls and I don't see that with Brown.
