Oh and that targeting penalty needs to ****ing die. If you want to eject a guy because you felt it was flagrant then fine. But this automatic ejection shit is dumb as shit.

I missed the play when it happened. When they showed the replay later in the game, I thought it was worthy of a roughing the quarterback call, but worthy of an ejection? That was just completely ridiculous. Maybe if he led with his helmet in a helmet-to-helmet hit while giving him a cock punch for good measure, but not what actually happened.

Seemed like the helmet contact was incidental to me, but I understand why they called it targeting. No question it's a roughing penalty at the very least.

But yes, it's hard to fire the guy right now. Especially if he's part of Mizzou's great player development.
Georgia Tech is doing the same thing to Florida State right now. Shit happens. Gus is a great offensive mind, and he was loaded with talent.

You're a coward, you asked who, name names, I did. Now, if you want to know what they can do, 'they' can place a premium on winning above all else.

Now, you mental midget that needs help connecting even the closest dots, for MIZZOU football that means do whatever it takes to get winners here (and that means living on the edge of every rule on the books). That means everything from boosters getting "involved" (to convince folks that Missouri is the state where their kid needs to go because they will profit in life 'in the long run' with a MIZZOU education), to having a coach that's willing to make a scene with the officials when their team was just raped, to the entire faculty helping the players with opportunities to lay and get better.

For the Chiefs, it means the Hunts either selling or jumping off a cliff. I'd say "change the tone at 1 Arrowhead Way to being one where only winning is acceptable and anything less will result in dismissal and/or not playing", but I don't think they're capable of making such drastic changes.

Given the talent level this was a good season.
Good take.

I really wanted Nebraska.

Some are saying Citrus vs. Louisville too...

If it is Clemson then we are facing a pretty strong defense but not really an impressive offense. They have a decent QB in DeShawn Watson but he is injured and isn't as mobile. Word is that once Clemson's bowl game is picked they will announce that Watson won't play and will have surgery.

If that is true then they will turn to Cole Stoudt their backup QB who is pick-prone and not anywhere near as mobile as Watson.

They do have 2 good receivers in Artavis Scott and Mike Williams, but they aren't anywhere near as good as Alabama's receivers.

In the AP and USA polls from today MU finished 16th and 14th respectively....

In the CFP final poll they dropped to 18th.

Will be nice to see which bowl they will get for sure and whom they play....no 2 speculations seem to be alike.

Pinkel does a good job at developing talent but some of you need to get real. Mizzou is nowhere close to competing with Alabama with 30-40th ranked recruiting classes. Absolutely no excuse with the regional talent Mizzou cant put together top 15 recruiting classes.
