Guess that eases the pain on the checkbook though with Killzone 3 coming out at the same time Gears 3 originally was.

Bought an XBox 360 over the weekend so the oldest boy could play Halo. We now have XBox, PS3 and Wii.
Couldn't believe XBox wants to charge $ to play online. Bill Gate$ cracks me up. Question: can you save your games on the XBox hardrive so you don't have to put the disk in to play the game? |

To answer your question though, yes you can save games to your HDD, but to protect against obvious piracy issues you still have to have the disk in the tray. Well, unless you want to mod it and not be able to take it online. Given your prior comment, that may be something you should look into. |

I see it as 50 bucks per year that I could be spending on another game.

Ive had both ps3 and xbox, and let me tell you, xbox live is WELL worth 50 bucks/month compared to psn.

psn is free so you can't really compare cost.

I'm soooo looking forward to my house getting done so that I can sit down and play some games. Living with my parents makes me feel like I'm 10 years old and playing video games for over 30 minutes gets me into trouble.

At any rate I don't allow my kids to play video games online. I admire M$ for making $ from the video game nerd for a service that the more popular boxes give for free. |

No seriously, where did you get your info about the PS3 being more popular? Was it from your trusted source that works for a newspaper? Dumbass.
