*****2020 NFL DRAFT THREAD - NO SPOILERS*****

Version 2020 - WORLD CHAMPION EDITION

We are now within 24 hours - Cincinnati is on the clock.

Let's ****ing do this.

Rules:
1. No spoiled picks in this thread, all weekend. This means that as tweets are leaking picks a few minutes before the selection is announced live, you don't post it in this thread (ex: embedded tweets), reference it in this thread (ex: Joe Slapdick says it's So and So to Green Bay) or hint at it (ex: "it's a RB!").

2. Don't be a dick.

Otherwise, have fun, talk shit, freak out and lose your goddamned minds. It's Draft Weekend. The hot takes in these threads are so funny. I'll also be starting player threads for each of our picks as they are made, with videos and notable stats/takes in the OP. Pure knee jerk gold to reference in the future.

Here is our current pick order:
Here is a list of the prospects the Chiefs have shown interest in this year.

Nice write up on Niang here:

Kent Swanson: I don’t care if this is a redshirt year for Niang. I don’t care if they’re trying him at guard long-term — or short-term before kicking him back outside. Whatever the developmental plan they have in mind, at pick 96, the Chiefs got exceptional value on a player who would’ve gone earlier if it weren’t for a hip injury. He’s still raw and he’s coming off an injury — but he possesses great movement skills. He’s got a great frame, he’s still young and has a lot of projection remaining in his game. Grade: A

I feel like these are home run swing picks. Guys that could have been first rounders if it wasn't for off field issues, or injuries.

I like it, if it works, amazing. If not, we already got a Superbowl.

I think CEH has a pretty high floor. He’s a running back with ability in an Andy Reid offense. I have a hard time envisioning how he won’t be productive as long as he stays healthy.

So is anyone else worried that the ravens have acquired a lot of talent in the draft. With 6 picks in the first two days of the draft when it is as deep of a class as it is, I'm pretty sure they are going to be our top competitor for the foreseeable future. Even if they only hit on 50% of their picks so far that's 3 players making an impact on cheap deals for the next 4 years.

They were the top competition in the AFC before the draft, they will be the top competition after. They got better, the Chiefs got better

Ravens are drafting well it looks like. Not everyone can be the Raiders I guess.

Ravens always draft well. Drafted well w/ Newsome, and continue to draft well under DeCosta

Colts have had a good draft too. Too bad we couldn't have kept Ballard on staff. He's building something good there. If Luck wasn't so beat up that team would be a lot better.
