Can't believe the regular season starts tonight. Just seemed like the Finals ended a couple weeks ago.

If you don't want to believe me about the GOAT debate, take it from Scottie Pippen. The guy who was with MJ for the entire Bulls run.

I'm pretty sure Scottie Pippen is still sore about the last dance documentary.

By that logic, Ray Allen recently said MJ is the GOAT. He played with Lebron and knows he bailed him out big time.

And unlike Pippen, Allen isn't saying that because he's scorned.

KCC is so insecure because he knows the overwhelming majority of former and current players and coaches, along with fans and the media, will always view MJ as the GOAT.

Jordan's 87-88 season was probably the greatest season by an NBA player of all time. Scottie Pippen played 20 minutes/gm off the bench.

And I'm supposed to 'take it from him' when he tries to claim credit for the player Michael Jordan was CLEARLY becoming well before he got there?

Yeah - that sounds like a really credible source.

Who wouldn't be? That was some of the most ridiculous media propaganda I've ever seen. Pippen knows exactly what MJ is and has always been.

Sounds a lot like how most NFL circles treat Brady to me. Clinging to the past and defending the indefensible long past the point it becomes obvious they have/will be surpassed.

Jordan wins 50 games with Charles Oakley as his #2 scorer and Dave Corzine, Brad Sellers and Sam Vincent as the next 3 most important players on the team.

Scottie Pippin: "Michael wasn't shit without me..."

KCC: "You should believe everything that guy says..."

Uh huh....

And as a Mahomes fan I couldn't care less about the fact that many, likely even the majority, will view Brady as the GOAT.

You know why?

Because I trust my eyes. I know Mahomes is the GOAT. Just like with MJ. No need to attack Brady or constantly refer to Mahomes as the GOAT.

The funny this is many of the people in the media that know Mahomes is the GOAT literally refer to him as the MJ of football.

Again, Lebron is Brady, Mahomes is MJ, that's why this comparison you try to make is hilarious.

It's of course exactly the opposite. Mahomes is the newcomer who continues to be compared against a ghost (Brady) that he will never be able to measure up to no matter what he does individually (7 titles). There's a striking similarity there to a certain basketball player who has dominated the NBA for longer than anyone ever has.

MJ never even made the NBA Finals without Pippen. Failed time and again against the Celtics and Pistons. Yeah, I'd trust Scottie on this one.

Lebron Stan's have to reach so hard to make their arguments that their go to is "Jordan never won anything without Pippen".

And even if that's the argument, how is it better than "Lebron has won nothing without AD, Kyrie, Wade, or Bosh".

It's just a really dumb talking point all around.

****ing shitbird Jordan couldn't even get past prime Larry Bird alongside Kevin McHale, Robert Parrish, Dennis Johnson and Dannie Ainge when he was 22 yrs old.

What the hell, man? Gene Banks and Earl Cureton weren't enough for you???

Thank GOD Scottie Pippen showed up and taught him how to play ball...

LeBron made the Finals as a 22 year old in 2007 with a bunch of complete scrubs and still gets knocked for losing to the Duncan/Ginobili/Parker Spurs at the peak of their powers. Yeah, MJ isn't getting a pass.
