I've already answered. I'd give him 8 years 100 million 35 guaranteed, no problem. That's not likely what he's asking for. I'd prefer a 5 or 6 year deal though.

Barely. With worse QBs.
FYI, Bowe's game logs from last season are interesting. Quick math: Cassel starts: 73.6 YPG, .44 TDPG Palko starts: 68.5 YPG, 0 TDPG Orton starts: 89 YPG, .4 TDPG (based on 2.5 games)

He was targeted 21 fewer times than Fitz and Megatron. 45 fewer times than Roddy White.

What difference does it make if it is 8 years or 5 years?

8 would be better, actually, as it would save the organization money.

Ooooh, I like that. Injuries aren't an excuse though. Ask Pioli and Baldwin.

Bowe knows 2013 free agency?
8:34AM ET Dwayne Bowe | Chiefs Recommend0 Comments0 As the deadline for franchise-tagged players to sign a multi-year deal approached on Monday afternoon, it didn't appear as though such an agreement would take place between the Kansas City Chiefs and WR Dwayne Bowe, in spite of the LSU product's excellent production in recent campaigns. One potential hang-up -- according to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter's explanation during his Tuesday appearance on "Mike and Mike in the Morning" -- was the simple fact that the market for WRs has gotten so pricey that the Chiefs didn't want to commit that much to Bowe. Deals for players like Calvin Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald, Vincent Jackson and others has made it more difficult for teams looking to re-sign their own. (The Pittsburgh Steelers have an idea of this reality, as well, given their situation with Mike Wallace). So after Bowe plays out the 2012 season on the one-year franchise tender, what's next? As noted Monday, the Chiefs can tag him again, though this would cost them around $11.4 million for 2013, and they wouldn't be able to use it on OT Branden Albert or DL Glenn Dorsey, as noted by Kent Babb of the Kansas City Star. They can also attempt to negotiate a multi-year deal again -- though it seems less likely that they'd sign one next offseason after failing to do so this offseason. The third possibility is that Bowe will hit unrestricted free agency. The 2013 free agent WR market is shaping up to be a good one, with Bowe, Wes Welker, Greg Jennings, Mike Wallace and Victor Cruz (RFA) all without deals. - Tim Kavanagh --------------------------------- Well if we lose Bowe after this year maybe we'll sign one of the other FAs in 2013. For this year Bowe will play under the the tag and he'll probably play well. This is what fanchise tag is for and it's all fair and not uncommon. The Pats, The Pack, Steelers and Giants are all in the same boat and doing the same thing.

I wonder which receiver has the best combination of production, age and size on that list.
Hmmm.

Fitz and Megatron aren't going to see $100M+. You realize that, right? It doesn't seem that way. |

So would you guarantee Bowe the same amount Fitz got?
