Choked...it's that simple

At least for the 1st half of the AFCCG the Chiefs choked all the way around. Offensively, defensively, you name it. The only good play was an INT to save a TD.

The defense is getting worked...
The offense is getting worked...

Mahomes is flat out choking...

Play calling has been weak...

We had a chance to tie it at 7 and instead we end up down by 14

From coaching to Mahomes to Berry to what ever...

CHOKE!

This was a loss.

Pat did enough to win the game twice.

This was no choke - we lost.

The defense played great for most of the game.

It was playoff experience for a young team and a confidence builder.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

You guys didn't choke, it's just the offensive style of this team. You guys NEED to learn to run the ball more. Hunt or not, methodically drive down the field. Control the clock, take the short throws. Reid + Mahomes are too impatient and always want the big play. They get greedy. Belicheck knows this, and when you played my team in Seattle we knew it as well. Either drastically improve your run defense, or leverage the explosive big play offense to get those easy short yard runs and passes.

Otherwise, with a good game plan a team will force you into multiple 3 and outs early. The opposing team will control the clock. And your opportunities will be less. I know Williams had a good game, but you guys needed to grind out this game. The Patriots didn't have a lot of splash plays, but they won

Whole different game because of the bogus roughing call.

Choking, no just piss poor defense 50% of the time.

Game was won and over. Had D-Ford lined up about a foot back from where he lined up. That was a game winning interception. That D-Ford puked away

I know it's right after the game, but Chiefs had a heck of a season that will continue into next year. It was a great season. You are being too hard on the Chiefs.

I hate the Pats and TB and BB but give them some credit. Just like the first meeting he came up with a game plan that took the Chiefs the entire 1st half to figure out. And TB didn't miss all night long. The Chiefs came back and if 1 or 2 plays break their way they're in the SB. At least it was the Saints that got totally screwed this year instead of KC.

Yup. Sometimes in life we just don't get what we want.

There isn't always some reason why or some person to blame.

It was a game. We lost. They made more plays than we did.

Andy Reid is the anti-Christ....he does not know how to win and he wastes talent like no other.......But I wish him the best as he will be in KC for 10 years or better yet.....mediocrity pays well in this fair city....

****ing stop. The Pats put together a terrific gameplan against us. They stumped our young qb just enough. Remind you that mahomes is still young and learning. This was an admirable performance for him. And to basically lose this game on a coin toss to a really solid team... I'm disappointed but not mad. The Chiefs didn't choke. The patriots have plowed through dozens of opponents the last decade in the playoffs. We were literally inches away from pulling it off. Nothing but proud of these guys.

You get it

The Patriots will always make you feel like your team failed. Because they grind out their wins. They're rarely gonna blow you out
