Packers lose LT Bulaga to ACL

http://www.packersnews.com/article/2...eason-torn-ACL

Ok Boys, who's in favor of trading Albert to the Packers for their 2014 1st rounder? He's worth it to a team like the Packers. Heck they could probably work out a long term deal. Tough on the Chiefs, especially Fischer, but its not like we don't have the bodies to make it work.

Yes but that would give us a great draft pick to select our next LT.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

I'd rather keep Stephenson than Albert. He's younger, bigger and has more upside than Albert.

and would be much cheaper/cap flexible.

By all reports Stephenson could start today but is log jammed behind Albert and Fisher

Bulaga's injury prone, when he returns next year he will have been out for almost two entire seasons. Albert would solidify the position for them.

For those who want to keep Albert, you do realize that he's walking after this season right?

Secondly, none of us think that the Chiefs are currently contenders, so way not spin a one year guy for a late first round pick? Do you want to be 8-8 or 10-6 this year and lose Albert, or would you rather be 8-8 or worse this year and have two first round picks to continue to build this team?

In one of the predictions threads you were saying 5 to 7 wins anyway.
So what you are really saying is that there won't be a very noticeable drop off if we trade Albert.
