OFFICIAL :: Indiacrapolis Colts @ Chiefs Game Thread

Ok...

So its a day early... the game is on my mind. Since the official Rams, Ravens, and falcons game threads were begun by me... and we won... I must continue my OFFICIAL game thread winning streak against animal named opponents.

To BigRedChief who really loves to create the "OFFICIAL" threads... I apologize.

To everyone else. I just played NFL Blitz on my Dreamcast... and we won 21-17. So dont fear.

But.. wtf does OFFICIAL really mean anyway? heh.

Anyone else felt like this game would never get here? Maybe for me it was the fact that the local FOX affiliate is a joke and decided not to air the game last week which has me really wanting to see the Chiefs. But I think it has a lot to do with knowing that if they can stop the Colts O and put enough points on the board to win, things will turn around for us.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Manning takes the snap from under center, hands the ball to James.. no wait, it's a fake Marvin's open over the middle.. Manning checks off to a wide open Stokely, pressure's coming, wait. .Marvin comes back on the slant in the end zone to a perfectly delivered ball!

14-0 Colts!

You do realize that in Nick Athan's world, we would have signed Hugh Douglas and Troy Vincent, right?

You couldn't have picked a worse guy to discuss the game with than that hoser

Well, I envited all of you over to talk about it and one or two showed up. So I HAD to do it with someone else, the guy seemed like a homer to me. But hey, if he's right then he looks like a genius I suppose?

This will be a terrific game, and more than likely come down to the final minute.

Good luck today, no injuries, no bad calls, just hard fought football by two talented teams with great fans!

GO COLTS!

J-R0D to start at Defensive End, McLeon to explore new bench territory as Battle tackles the Nickel spot...

Oh, how things are looking up. Gun is reading the planet again...
