Kill the dog, tie the the corpses tails together and throw them over a power line in between the two owners houses.

Must I always be the voice of reason?

We have a cat that we adopted, it was a neighborhood cat. We don't let her out much anymore, but she does still go out and keep are yard clean. If she didn't come home, we would understand, it is a risk.

That all being said, I think it would be nice if you knew it was dead, but maybe leave out details, say coyote it something. I'd be worried they might take some revenge on your dog if they knew for sure.

Is your dog a pit? My buddy has a couple pits and they're great dogs. But one time their next door neighbors little rat dog got loose and came into their yard and one of his pits killed it.

I wish my dogs would kill some goddamn cats. Might help with all these damn strays that wander around the 'hood.

My old cat used to kill shit and leave the heads on the doorstep as a present. Every day I got home from work, I'd see a head laying there. I remember when the Royals beat the Cardinals one year, we walked outside that night and there was a cardinals head sitting on the porch. I usually didn't like the dead shit in my yard but that one we laughed pretty hard.

Old tale I heard from old man stories is similar to this, only much more haunting.

A ****ed up guy in town would tie cats tails together and throw them over a clothes line.

Wrong, he has came a long ways, certain people can come and go as they please, he does nothing but wags his tail to be petted. The neighbor next door who has complained has fed him treats and now is petting and talking to him.

Now the mail man or Fed, UPS, ... hold on a daggum minute, he wants confront them, very aggressively and thus the reason we have an underground fence and his shock collar on him.

But I discipline him frequently when needed.

Sounds like an unfortunate accident waiting to happen...

My dog is a Malinois and he would rip the shit out of a cat that came into the property. Not out of malice but out of rough play. Keep your cat out of my yard. And no, I haven’t seen your cat.

Does he still have his balls? We need new blood.
I don’t think he has balls. Not checking.

If your other cats behaved like him they’d be dead as ****. This ****er for his ass whipped by this cat my **** sister had hanging around. I mean for shredded by this thing. Whatever. Then it got this horrific infection in its bottom jaw, assuredly one of the wounds from when it got its ass beat like a drum. At the time he was my **** sisters cat but she said whatever that infection is going to kill him. We cleaned it a few times with peroxide if we could hold the ****er down with welding gloves. ****er had the infection for over a year and beat it.

Maybe the cat is an alien.

My **** sister is always busting my nuts because she can’t keep cats. Nevermind the fact that I’ve run over precisely 0 of her cats and she’s probably got at least 30. But my heeler periodically chases (herds) them. Oh god I got my ass chewed for that.

Anyway, she got a German Shepherd who absolutely gave those cats hell.

Yeah. They chase cats.
