Robby Anderson would be better and more realistic, probably anyway. Don't know what he'd want for money, but he got paid 3 million last year.

6' 3", 190 lbs. 4.3 40 time.

He won't replace Watkins completely, but he could be a solid replacement for DRob.

You know they gave Kelvin Benjamin way more run than I would have. They may think this type of receiver is more valuable than we do. Gearheads talk about “there’s no replacement for displacement”. I kind of see goal line as a similar deal. Sure we can scheme and shit but if someone plays a sound defense the advantage of being big becomes more pronounced (see the TDs Benjamin dropped). Could maybe provide some value.

That being said anyone that looks half way worth a **** gets cut or the contract is a penny over the vet min and I don’t want any part of it.

We are likely to draft a late round WR that has a better chance at making the squad than Dez Bryant.

I honestly can't see a downside in giving him a vet minimum contract with a bunch of incentives and let him compete in camp. If he's a d-bag or can't cut it, we cut him in camp and no harm done.

Or we get a cheap 3/4 Wideout who could be dangerous in the redzone

He may make a good camp fodder with his experience I suppose. I just don't like elders to take reps from the young guys that replace them anyways. Reps are gold nuggets in OTAs and Training Camp.
