This team's identity: having fun.

Am I totally off base on this?

This does not seem to be the kind of "eat your lunch, dominate you and skull **** your body" kind of team like the Steelers or whatnot have had in the past. Nor does it seem like the kind of down-to-business, strictly do-your-job identity that other teams like the Patriots have.

This team seems to just be having a blast.

All the best players: Kelce, Hill, Mahomes, Hunt, Chris Jones, Dee Ford -- all seem to be guys that are either party dudes or just loose personalities that put a shit ton of pride in doing ridiculous dances and joshing on the sidelines.

I remember thinking that about the Steelers last year, and how they just seemed looser than everybody else and completely confident.

I get that feeling from us more than any other team this year.

Not sure where to put this, but on the subject of fun, a little perspective to keep in mind if and when you cluck at showboaters dancing after a TD.

Not saying I'm on board with all of it, or even making a big deal yeah or nay, but sometimes they might be coming from a good place, even if it doesn't make sense to your sense of the situation.

FTR - I'm pretty sure that was the dance OBJr did after his 1 TD in a loss to the fellow basement dweller 9ers.

If this was true then every Baskin-Robbins employee group would be winning Superbowls.

Love the days when defense was more than a doorstop.

I've yet to have someone make the case against;
if we're this concerned about injuries, and
if we're going to neuter the defense this much to avoid them [and all the other stuff, casual fans, fantasy stats, etc]

WHAT is the case against just going to a skills challenge format? Have the QBs and RBs and WRs compete against moving targets or those robot blocking dummies.
