48 hours.

On Week 14 of the 1963 season, the Chiefs beat the Jets 48-0, powered by five touchdown passes, and a long fumble return for a touchdown by defensive end Jerry Mays. Len Dawson had four of those touchdowns, and backup Eddie Wilson had one. Bobby Hunt recorded two interceptions as the Chiefs soundly walloped their opponents.

The Chiefs have only scored 47 points once in their history, a 47-27 win over the Saints in Week 1 of the 1985 season. Bill Kenney's squad put up over 500 yards of offense, with Carlos Carson making 173 yards in receptions and two touchdowns. On defense, Kevin Ross set the tone with two interceptions while movie star Pete Koch recorded two quarterback sacks.

44 hours left.

We all know about 44. In Week 14 of the 1997 season, the Chiefs beat the 49ers by the score of 44 to 9. Derrick Thomas recorded a sack on Steve Young, but was only third in sacks, as Pellom McDaniels and Dan Williams both recorded two sacks. Joe Phillips and Donnie Edwards recorded a safety on a run stop, and Mark McMilian return an interception for a touchdown. The defense was amazing, but the offense played great as well. Andre Rison had two touchdown receptions, Tony Gonzalez had one, and Ted Popson had one. And interestingly, one of those touchdown passes was thrown by Marcus Allen.
