Welcome Lurkers and Noobs!

During the past 3.5 days, we've had 75 new registrations at ChiefsPlanet. This is a record for 2004. Congratulations and welcome home.

That is a combination of 2 things, IMO:
1. The Chiefs win.
2. Due to poor board performance, we shut out non-registered viewing.

Whatever your reason for registering, welcome to your site. We are the undisputed largest and busiest fan operated Chiefs website on the internet. It has also been reported through independant studies that we are the largest sports related BB dedicated to a single professional team.

Whether that makes us the "Best" is debatable, but we're pretty proud of this place. It is a community operated site, not a dictatorship. So, if you see something you'd like to have changed or added, speak up.

That's pretty true. I was roasted by KC Wolfman and Logical (aka Vlad Logicslav) after my first post. All I said was that I was too young to remember the Chiefs SB win when I was 6. KC Wolfman has been giving me grief ever since.

I posted a new thread and the board was having issues with performance and I posted the thread twice. The regulars were all over it. Making fun of it and posting "fun" stuff in it...It was all in fun but I could see how that would have chased someone off. And maybe the planet doesn't want thin skinned hombres hanging in the planet. kind of a natural selection process...But the regulars could be nicer to noobes..

As a start I will say....

Welcome to the Planet! We are glad to see you. Thanks for joining us. Now turn on Oprah settle in and give us a hug.....Okay maybe this won't work out after all.....

I think that post makes you cool. Honestly. Really...

If not for Kyle, Phil, Russ, and others taking me in here after I was a stubborn bastidge when the first Star BB went down I'd be "homeless."

So I guess I'm an immigrant here myself. N00bs need hazing, but after they've earned their stripes there's plenty of room on the Planet for everyone....

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

See thats the attitude I'm talking about. After I got "hazed" with the double thread mistake and didn't get mad about it everything was cool. Even got my first rep from a planeteer for taking the "hazing" with a smile.

I got hazed mighty well when I first appeared. And I gotta admit it was my own damn fault.

I “Tried” cracking a joke, in response to a thread.
http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=12840

which led to a meeting of minds,
http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=12842
http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=12850
(I still didn’t have a word ?spell check program so it made things even worse.)

which led to a great “tear me a new azzhole for mouthing off to the wrong guy” thread, which saw Hawianboy toast me alive.
http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=12848
http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=12856

BUT!!
I did admit my mistake, and appoligize for it.
http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=12871

Not that any of these INGRATES ever accecpted it.

After that I just kinda blended in …not bad for a Ra!der fan huhh?

Hey, I have been a lurker here for quite a while. I feel like I know quite a few of you here. Most of the time I surf during work so I don't post much if at all. But this is my favorite place to go for a quick Chiefd fix!
