He's off to Baltimore pending a physical.

Well, the original statement implied that sports figures would "come crashing to earth first", but considering the stories I've heard about stock brokers, I've since revised my position on the matter.

Everybody on this board knows I'm a moron. Plus, I'm in Denver - home of some of my favorite micro-brews. I am required to be drinking here.

the whole thing with the stock market frightens me a little...

i remember the stories from my grandpa and my dad and uncles about the great depression and wonder if it's going to happen again sometime...

Why did the name change from Mental Ward to Lounge while I was in California or does that happen on a regular basis? Denver is a great town but thier Football team sucks.

How did you become so cultured for such a young guy?

When I was your age, I didn't know the difference between good beer and swill.

It's normally known as the Lounge - it got changed to the Mental Ward after the Chiefs sucked ass this season.

Hard telling. Boston survived, though. But I figure it would be bigger than the Bears Super Bowl and all the Bulls championships combined.

Too bad it'll never happen....

I've really enjoyed the Bierre de Mar - a seasonal offering from New Belgium (makers of Fat Tire). I also decided I wasn't incredibly fond of TommyKnocker's wheat offereing. Finally, I decided I can't tell the difference from one Indian Pale Ale to another. I've been drinking Mojo IPA and it's good, but nothing distinctive.

Finally, I'm ashamed to admit that I like Blue Moon - a wheat beer secretively brewed by Coors.

It will happen sooner than you think. Selig is trying to salvage MLB.
