Well from reading the article the other day i get this:

His agent said he will definatly play in '06 and maybe '07. His agent also said Will might have to make a tough descision on working out a more cap friendly contract to stay.

Will seems irked that he can't just play under the contract he signed. IMO he would probably take it personally if we have to cut him.

CP says when his current deal was signed, the last year didn't mean anything and Will and his agent knew it would have to be redone because of the big cap #.

I don't expect him to publically admit it but I believe finishing his career in KC is very important to him and his family. KC is their home and they have business and many charitable interests here. I don't think he would want to potentially mess with any of that.

Hell, maybe he gets frustrated and says the hell with it and calls it quits? Who knows. Should be interesting.

Given that we are going to be so cap-strapped that we won't be able to sign even average players to replace the people we cut, I'm not hoping anyone gets cut.

I'm thinking the Chiefs could be pretty crappy next year.

We got one. Kendrell Bell is most likely moving to the DE spot maybe. Or there's Wilkerson as well.

Seahawks | Team agrees on eight-year deal with Alexander

Jay Glazer, of FOXSports.com, reports the Seattle Seahawks have agreed to terms on an eight-year contract with RB Shaun Alexander. The deal is reportedly worth $62 million and includes in excess a total of $15 million in bonuses and salary the first year. It is not known how the deal is structured with regards to how much cap space the deal takes up in the first year of the contract. Alexander was eligible to become an unrestricted free agent March 6.
