Who do you got? Tiger will be playing along side Nick Faldo on Thursday and Friday and apparently they don't get along. That should add an element of interest to the tournament. Phil Mickelson is coming off of his choking 18th hole at Winged Foot. Will Ernie Els show up? What about Sergio Garcia? Colin Montgomerie has been playing well and the gallery will be very supportive of him. Let's not forget Jim Furyk, Vijay Singh and the other lefty Mike Weir. The golf course is burned out, brown, hard as concrete. It's a shot makers golf course. All the greats will be there, it's anyones tournament. If I had to pick one I'd go with Tiger. I think his dislike for Nick Faldo will motivate him.

Tiger comes back strong. Shot a 7 under par 65 today to leap ahead of the field going into the weekend. Awfully high scores... pretty talented leaderboard though.

1 Tiger Woods F -12
2 Ernie Els F -11
3 Chris DiMarco F -9
4 Retief Goosen F -8
T5 Miguel Angel Jimenez F -7
T5 Adam Scott F -7
T5 Mikko Ilonen F -7

Glad to see that Rich Beem made the cut. Did anyone else read the book "Bud, Sweat and Tears?"

I'm sure he agrees. Although he seems to be handling his struggles pretty well. I look forward the a Tiger and Ernie pairing. It's going to be 100bazillion degress this week-end. It'll be a good week-end to stay indoors and watch golf.

I know it's not going to happen, but wouldn't it be funny if Mickelson never won another major after his meltdown? He's too talented not to win another one, but I could see him going two or three years without a major. The pressure is back on him and it could be like trying to win his first one all over again.

He always sucks at the British Open. Don't make too much of it.

I'd love to see the Big Easy take this, but if I'm betting, I take Tiger. Does anyone know what time the last groups are teeing off manana?
