No.

He threw a pick when we were down 0-17...and the game was over.

I know everyone hates Huard on this board, but putting this loss on his shoulders is a ****ing joke. It's sickening, really...

We have a horrible playcalling coordinator, a terrible running game, a right tackle who cannot pass protect or run block, a center who gets manhandled every game, a right-guard who is in dire need of his roid supply, yet, we're going to blame the loss on Damon Huard??

You're right, because with our offense BUILT around LJ who wasn't even getting a yard per carry it's still going to be Damon Huard's fault...

At least Damon was moving the ball when they were calling passing plays...Solari was ****ing it up by even trying to run. We should've kept using the play-action until Jacksonville had an answer for it, instead Solari ****ed it up by even TRYING to run...there wasn't a single running lane created by our ridiculously awful offensive line the entire game.

LJ should just ****ing go on his inevitable rant RIGHT NOW, because I think it's due. **** Solari, **** the offensive line...I want to hear from LJ.
Um....I would prefer to see Croyle play, but you can't pin this on Huard. Our line sucks, Solari sucks...and we played a fairly good team. With no running game what so ever....we will be bad. Not JUST Huards fault.

BRILLIANT!

I hope we will see. We need to know one way or the other. I have never said once, that Croyle is gonna be a great QB. I have just wanted him to get a shot.

Damon Huard curling up scared during blitzes.

Gee... I wonder why the Jags blitzed us on every third down.

Some QB's hang in there and beat it, some dump it short like chickens even when it's picked up, and some curl into the fetal position, lay down and wait to be 'tackled'. Sounds like Damon is the last option on this one.

Damon slings the ball short of the first down on EVERY third down. He's a vet.. throw it past the sticks for christ sakes!

Huard has clearly proven he's not starting material. Here's the "relevant" data:

97-149 (65.1%) for 1029 yards (6.90 ypa/10.61 ypc) , 4 TD and 6 INT.

Clearly not starting material...

...unless you're happy with a 3200 yard, 13 TD, 19 INT quarterback, which is what Huard projects out to be.

I been saying that the whole time, my friend. They are stacking the box, becuase they do not respect the passing game nor Damon Huard.

I agree not to pin this loss on any one person, and I'm not down on Huard when we can't even muster 40 yrds rushing. That having been said, Huard isn't even close to Croyle in terms of quick release, accuracey, and arm strength. It isn't even close IMO

Oh and the Jags did not want us to score, they by no means gave that to us. That offense works better with Huard. again IMO

I think Jacksonville is just REALLY good...

We were out-coached, plain and simple.

Fortunately, as a Chiefs fan, I look at the AFC West and see:

Oakland 2-2
KC 2-3
San Diego 2-3
Denver 2-3

so you guys can give up hope, but I will not...

Hootie's making sense.

It ain't on Huard this time around. But if we're going to play this poorly, I think we should go with Croyle anyway.

Croyle was making the same throws Huard did...

Watching Croyle play in the 4th made it quite apparent you can only do so much with the play-calling...

Shit, Croyle WAS getting rid of it faster than Huard...the play was called, Croyle decided who he was going to throw the ball to before they even broke the huddle, snap, two steps, boom, THROW...

He's not going to play better than Huard. Not even close. Every QB in the NFL would've lost this game to the Jags when you consider the fact we had...9 RUSHING YARDS

I could agree with this, give Croyle a 2 game try-out, and see if the offense responds...

If not, **** him...we could fall to 2-5 and still be in the hunt with this division...even though San Diego proved today that they aren't ****ing around any longer...

AND

Are you truly going to cite that last play touchdown in your post?

Croyle was throwing the ball against four man fronts...whooopdeedoo...

He looked WAY MORE TIMID than Huard did...and he was throwing THE SAME QUICK PASSES Huard does...

When Croyle takes over the team, IF Croyle takes over the team, you're all setting yourselves up for a big disappointment.

Croyle makes his read before he even snaps the ball...you don't think defenses are going to pick up on this and 'bate' him into making the stupid pass?
Are you f'ing kidding me? You are a poor excuse for a football fan...

Yeah, Croyle was throwing against 4 man fronts, who also happened to be getting pressure. That also mean he was throwing against SEVEN DBs ,yet he completed pass after pass, including a TD. Remind me again how many TD passes Huard had today...

Let's not forget that our best playmaker at the moment, Dwayne Bowe, went almost entirely un-utilized by Huard. That's inexcusable.

I really can't stop laughing about "He looked WAY MORE TIMID than Huard did" - that could possibly be the single most ludicrous thing I've read on the internet this year. He was comfortable, poised, and in control. He was very calm in the pocket - he stepped up when pressure dictated, actually went through a full progression of reads, and made quick decisions. He showed the ability to get out of the pocket when needed, and threw a great pass, on the run, 35 yards downfield, against a defense designed to protect the sideline. Huard couldn't dream of making that throw.

Almost as ludicrous is "Croyle makes his read before he even snaps the ball". This is actual proof that you know nothing about football - that is Damon Huard in a nutshell. Why do you think he gets so many balls batted down at the LOS?

You truly are clueless. Your unfounded pro-Huardism has gone beyond laughable, and landed firmly in "sad" territory. I almost feel sorry for you. Almost.
