For THOSE that DID NOT renew your season tickets

So my buddy and I decided NOT to renew our season tickets this season and YES that was an bitter-sweet decision to make.

So It gets down to the last day to send in the first payment which was the 15th and I get an email from KCChiefs.com on the 14th telling me the day is near and please send $.

I email them back and tell them: "Please sell my ticket to someone that cares as I am done wasting my time and money."

Last Monday the 18th I get an email back telling me they recieved my email and that they have noted my response in my account.

OK Whatever...........

Then Friday last week I get a PHONE call from someone inside ticket sales:

Q: I was wondering what prompted your decision to drop your season ticket after 18 years?

A: "Carl Peterson"

Q: We are trying to rectify the current situation by putting a competitive team on the field next year is they anyway we can convince you to stay with us and renew your season tickets?

A: "Yea ........ FIRE CARL PETERSON" !

Q: Well sir I can certaily sense your frustrations and I hope if you change your mind in the future you will call us back and resume your trek with the KC Chiefs.

A: "I refuse to drink anymore of the Carl Peterson KoolAid so if that is all you have to keep me satisfied then don't bother calling me back". Click.

I can only hope these things are recored for quality assurance purposes.

Tell the Chiefs they could help Customer relations by toning down the parking nazis.
What do you mean $25 isn't reasonable to rent a parking space for 3 hours, at a place where you spend thousands a year for an inferior product?

I wish. I'm just a fan wanting to earn my Red Coat (not an easy task).
I've had problems in the parking lot, too. I'll be sure to pass that along.

Since Sandy is a our Chiefsplanet neighbor and friend, and hasn't yet earned the esteemed redcoat......Someone get the man from Atlanta on the phone and get this poster a nice, bright red "Dammit Carl" Tshirt to wear to the next event.

You know I was walking through JCHS to a network problem and I couldn't really get everything I wanted to say out in the middle of a High School.

I tell you what though that poor guy on the other end was almost speacheless for 5 seconds or better when I told him "Fire Carl Peterson". Which is kind of strange because I'm sure I'm not the ONLY disgruntled fan to make that statement?

You need to tell them we want the corporate office dismantled and Carl Peterson and all of his cronies gone.. How many years does it take to figure out he is a failure at building a winning playoff team???

You can also pass this along to Clark Hunt, if he wants to make money get into another business.. Owning a sports team is about winning championships and bragging rights, not about ****ing your fans over..

You'd think they'd have a previously-scripted answer just for that type of situation.

Maybe it was his first call.

I heard "Fire Carl" twice today. I did pass it along. Right now they have hired a lady to be incharge of season ticket holders. She is gathering up all the information but I don't have a clue what, if anything, will happen.

Nope. I have the best seat in the house in front of my new HDTV. There is no way I am lining Carl's pockets with season ticket money.
