Apparently that concept is lost on the majority of state governments.

why don't you just go somewhere that doesn't allow smoking instead of a place that does? I mean it is pretty simple really...in fact I bet if you opened your own smoke free bar you would be a millionaire within a year

2. All of the good bars allow smoking 3. In the state of Florida there is a ban on smoking in public places except for those who surpass a threshold of percentage of total sales majority in alcohol. Why the **** should I have to change my viewpoint? Me not smoking nor asking you not to smoke around me doesn't affect your health. You smoking around me smells bad and adversely affects my health. I should have to find a new establishment because you choose to partake in a disgusting, foul smelling, unhealthy habit? No dice.

I have no interest in owning a bar. I go to bars to be social and to drink, not because I want to work there.

People go to an amusement park to go on rides and experience the thrill and excitement. They make their money off of the rides they provide.
People go to bars to be social and get drunk. They make their money off of the alcohol they sell. They don't make their money off of cigarettes.

Going on any amusement park ride anywhere assumes a risk of injury due to the ride. Consuming alcohol should not require one to assume the risk of second hand smoke. The two situations aren't analogous at all.
