Hank Baskett released....

Adam_SchefterEagles have taken Michael Vick off exempt list and he will begin practicing Wednesday. To make room for him, team released Hank Baskett.

He'd be worth a look...

No, it means they took Vick off the exemption list so he could practice with the team or something.

i think that baskett could at least compete for the #2 Wr on our squad if we sign him, that would give cassel two big targets to throw to bowe 6'2", baskett 6'4". i do think that we need to try for a trade to land a WR before the trade deadline or does someone see a huge WR threat coming outta college next year that we might have a shot at getting?

I'm betting that Spagnoulo claims Baskett.

Spags was in Philly before NY and knows him.

I'd rather keep Lawrence than Copper. The upside is a lot higher. And by a lot, I mean infinitely.

I haven't looked, but aren't they pretty deep at WR? They spent like 900 high first rounders on them.

Q.Lawrence is ok, but he is small, wade is small, and engram is small. we need to get away from the little WR's that cant take a hit. Lawrence is a rookie trying to do what wade and engram have made careers out of. He needs to go to our practice squad and then we could release r.wright, after a yr or two on the practice squad his talents will be a little more polished, but no doubt he has some raw potential.

Cottam was discovered to suck. But there's really no need to replace Tony Gonzalez with another TE, in fact I'd say that's a mistake.
