Ed Reed, Wes Welker, and Hester

Yeah, I know.... these guys haven't done it yet.... but those are the players that the Chiefs had in mind when they drafted these guys.

Now, if they pan out, I imagine that we will all think it was worth it. If not..... well, then Pioli sucks.

I like the draft as well. Playmakers, solid secondary now, solid ST's, Four Wide of Chambers, Bowe, JU and McCluster with JC in the backfield.

Now get a RT, ILB, LeFEVAH and it will be solid.

No, we drafted a big time kick returner who will also be a great slot corner..... and a offensive playmaker..... he isn't a 'project'. He has played the position in college.

Why take average starters, when you can draft big time play-makers?

Seriously, this is a deep draft, they will add solid players in the next two rounds.

Uh....I think you missed my point.

Our recieving corps sucks ass, and taking a project to place with that, when there were actual receivers in the draft, is a bad pick.

Slightly.

Carl would have at least addressed some of our pertinent needs in this draft. Even if they were with god-awful players. He had a clue (albeit a small one) about positional value.

Exactly. We needed STARTERS, not 3rd on the depth chart players. This team never ceases to disappoint.

Yeah, there are some decent WR's. But, none of the 'game changing' type of WR's aren't projects at this point.

McLuster i like. He is a playmaker, fast, and has good hands... further, obviously we weren't sold on Clausen.

I don't care for the second pick tho.

Give the second round a C.

these two midgets in the 2nd round is already the same crap we have. How you even put them in the same sentence with stars like Welker and Hester is just a disrespect to the pro talent and their name.
Actually, instead of Welker, if the right comparable is Kevin Faulk you guys will be freaking thrilled. His efforts as the Pats 3rd down back have been one of the Pats keys to success over the last 10 years.
