As UGLY as that was.........

We are still in first place in the AFC WEST. The donks got SPANKED today and either Oak, of SD will lose today. I honestly think we have a decent shot next week at Houston and then we are back at Arrowhead.

Haley seems to have control of this young team and I think he will have them ready to play next week. We now have a two game lead and are still sitting in the captains chair at 3-1. We are still in good shape, going into next weeks game in TX.

The thing I like, is as young as this team is, they will only get better. Replace Cassel and Bowe before next season and we will be in outstanding shape.

Exactly.

Everyone who jumped my shit during preseason for stating that we needed to trade Bowe can kiss my ass.

I know one always wants their team to win but I just cannot see how your team could complain after playing very well against an elite team in the NFL...

Your team has played pretty well this year but you are not in the same class as the NFL elite and still have a long row to hoe, just like the Raiders..

I still consider both teams about equal with the exception of your defense is a little better.....

I don't want this to come across wrong, however,I'm feeling that who the hell cares if KC wins the division and makes the play-offs only to get bounced in the first round.

And in no way am I comparing our young D to the Ravens team but right now I'd be thrilled with a serviceable qb like Trent Dilfer as well as this defense is playing. Why is it this team can NEVER put all the pieces together at once

i agree in theory

but we're building, and we have enough good young players that a taste of the playoffs would be a great motivating thing..i think

obviously we don't want to settle for just making the playoffs in 2-3 years....but that brings us back round to the QB

I completely get it,just feeling ill that our D went toe to toe only to have some of their teammates on the other side totally let them down.

And I know it's a team sport but I sure hope Haley makes it perfectly clear to his young and probably impressionable team that this shit will not be tolerated or I fear the whole "KC Cycle" starts once again.

The good thing about this game is that we beat ourselves. The Colts didn't do it to us. I'd say we can move on feeling pretty good.

Oh, I forgot we still have Cassel. Nevermind!

Cassell is not impressing me yet. He throws alot of ducks and his lack of accuracy amazes me. How the heck did he get into the NFL and stay. He must have something.
One of these days he'll show us why Pioli coughed up 63 Million.

On the other hand, if Bowe catches that TD pass and if DJ makes theat interception and
takes it to the house like he should have, we win that game and Cassell is 4-0 and the starter of the only unbeaten team in the NFL - go figure !!!

Cassell needs to see the FIELD in his pass selection process.

Our defense is surpising me. To hold Manning to ZERO TD passes will make the rest of the NFL take notice.

i'm with you on that

we've always had one side of the ball that basically blew

i just have to believe that Haley see's it loud and clear and will do something about it...too bad we have to wait for next year to fix 'that' problem..

I think we're okay in that sense; the team isn't being built out of balance now. There isn't a focus on one unit over the other. They've drafted players and they've hired elite coordinators for both phases.

Lucky for us our division looks more like the NFC West than AFC.
