Love NCIS, although I like Abby better than Ziva and I've never heard of Castle except for Mark. Just sayin.

Nathan Fillion plays Richard Castle, a mystery novel writer, who shadows Kate Beckett, a New York City homicide detective, as inspiration for a character, Nikki Heat, in a book series. It's kind of cool, because the books that he talks about writing on the show have actually been written IRL (Heat Rises, Naked Heat, etc) under the pen name Richard Castle, and Nathan Fillion portrays him in real life as well, like at book signings and such.
