Agreed. The biggest things working against Davis and Priest are not enough years of being great.

Chiefs HOF sure, but no way he gets in the real HOF. He just didn't do it long enough but I will always cherish the memories we had.

That "cancer" had to be purposely held back from taking the records away from the fake broke-neck piece of 5hit Priest Holmes and being YOUR CHIEFS all time leading rusher. PH was always a piece of 5hit, he just had one of the best lines of all time to run behind.. Scroo Priest, let him keep his broke-neck, slow ass running piece of crap self down in Texas.. He's too big a pu55y to ever come back..

All because of the system he was in. Terrell Davis was nothing more than a system back. People talk about Priest running behind the line we had, well Davis had just as good a line that ran a scheme that ANYONE could run behind.

Davis will never get into the hall and rightfully so. He was overrated in every sense of the word.

So is Terry Bradshaw and perhaps a couple dozen other players who are in the HOF. Results, numbers, and championships put guys in the HOF just as much as talent... more than talent.

Wrong. Broncos had a nice system yes, but none that came after him approched his greatness. He's a borderline hall of famer, but not because he was overrated.

ya that was bullshit, Davis was pretty damn good however you look at it. They did have a good system, but Davis got Elway a couple of championships, you can't over look that.

Yep. I can remember listening to local sportswriter, and HOF committee member, John McClain a few years ago and one of the things they always look for is "Did that player change the way the position is played." In Galye Sayers case that would be a yes. In Priest Holmes and Terrell Davis' cases, that would be a NO. The committee also looks for longevity (unless the player made such a huge impact like Sayers).

Priest was a cheaper, less durable, version of Marshall Faulk.

He will not only make it on the first ballot but they will also change the name to the Holmes of Fame. Remember, you heard it here first.

Priest was nothing, at all, like Marshall Faulk.

He wasn't as good as Faulk, and he was less durable, but more importantly they were totally different types of players. I'm only commenting because I'm completely baffled by the comparison.

Terry Bradshaw is the most underrated QB to ever play the game.

You're going to have to find a link stating he has the most post season yards of any back. Absolutely no way with that short a career he has more than Emmitt or even Franco Harris.
