Chanting "USA USA USA" is always done by a bunch of nationalistic clowns.

Thank God the trend has mostly died out over the years.

The funniest is when some loser tries to start the "USA USA USA" chant and no one follows suit.

At first, I thought this was stupid. The chant is usually a way of showing patriotism, and it's hard to come up with a scenario where it wouldn't be appropriate at a sporting event.

However, the purpose of the chant seemed to be implying that the opposing team's players were not American. That's clearly pretty shitty.
