Branch/Curry/Still on D
Silatolu/Konz/Massie on O

I'm also intrigued by Alshon Jeffrey. Obviously not a huge need position, but that guy is a playmaker. Offense needs to get better, and he'd add yet another big target who can flat go get an errant pass.

I like it.

It's got a good beat and it's easy to dance to.

Here's what I'd do

2. Upshaw
3. Brandon Taylor, LSU, S
4. Cyrus Gray, HB, TX A&M
5. Adam Gettis, G, Iowa
6. Asa Jackson, CB, Cal Poly
7. Kellen Moore, QB, Boise St (why the hell not)
7. Josh Oglesby, OT, Wisconsin

Just what I'd throw together. But of course it's difficult to tell who will be available at what point.

IF Upshaw isn't available. Then I'd also LOVE for us to take Cordy Glenn. He moves really well for a big guy, and he can play LT or LG. He did a terrific job for Georgia. I had him ranked as a Mid-late 1st round guy.

Lamar Miller
Coby Fleener
Peter Konz (I'm still iffy if he can adapt to our zone scheme)
Jonathan Martin (insane that he's still available in the 2nd round)

Realistically I'm far more interested in the 3rd round. I REALLY want one of these three safeties:

Iloka
Taylor
Trumaine Johnson

If we have to spend our 2nd rounder to get one of those guys, I'd be pretty fine with that.

Also, doesn't Upshaw have huge character flags? Like doesn't he hate Jews and beat women or something?

I would like Osweiler as late as we could safely get him. 4th round? I doubt he falls that far.

In fact, I think we should take Trumaine Johnson in the 2nd. The Patriots will almost undoubtedly snatch him before us if we don't.

Walterfootball.com put out their 2nd and 3rd round re-draft.

Walter's Draft:

Quote:
2. Amini Silatolu, G/OT, Midwestern State
The Chiefs passed on David DeCastro, but they can grab their guard here.

3. George Iloka, S, Boise State
When asked in a recent interview what the second-most important position is in football (behind quarterback), Romeo Crennel said: "safety." It sounds crazy, but safeties are very important in his defensive scheme. He likes using three on the field at most times.
Charlie Campbell's Mock:

Quote:
2. Dwayne Allen, TE, Clemson
The Chiefs signed Kevin Boss, but that won't prevent them from taking more talent at the position. Between Boss, Tony Moeaki and Allen, Kansas City has a trio of effective tight ends.

Allen, an early-entry, improved his draft stock this year, but it could have gone even higher if Clemson had given him more opportunities. However, he remained simply underutilized. Allen amassed 50 receptions for 598 yards and eight touchdowns in the regular season. He was a dangerous red-zone weapon for the Tigers. Allen's speed catches defenses by surprise, and he has excellent agility to make tough catches.

The 6-foot-3, 255-pounder was a solid blocker for Andre Ellington and Jamie Harper in 2010. Allen was also a receiving threat with 33 receptions for 373 yards and one touchdown. He had an impressive performance against North Carolina and its quality linebacking corps, making seven receptions for 55 yards.

Allen had a disappointing Combine with a 40 time of 4.89, but he showed well in the bench press (27 reps) and field-receiving drills. Reports were that Allen performed well at his pro day.

3. Brock Osweiler, QB, Arizona State
The Chiefs grab a quarterback to groom for a year or two behind Matt Cassel. Osweiler visited Kansas City before the draft.

Osweiler (6-6, 242) is big-armed pocket passer who has surprising mobility. The former basketball player has good athletic ability for being so tall. Looking at him, one would think he would be a statue in the pocket, but that is definitely not the case as he is a good scrambler.

As a junior this year, Osweiler completed 63 percent of his passes for 4,036 yards with 26 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. He also ran for 298 yards and three touchdowns. Osweiler set the school record for yards, completions and attempts. In 2010, he had only two starts, but played well, throwing for 797 yards and five touchdowns with zero interceptions, while also running for 168 yards and a score.

Osweiler has real arm strength and the gun to be a starting quarterback in the NFL. However, he is very raw and needs some work. If Osweiler goes to a good coaching staff that can develop him for a few years, he could turn into something. It wouldn't be surprising if Osweiler's stock rises during the lead up to the draft. He should have stayed in school and improved before going pro.
