Wanted Geno or Glennon.

I've got no dog in the hunt now.

That said I hope we draft the guy most likely to make the rest of the BB have a good day at this point...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Teams want the read option fad apparently. Even though the pure drop back guy still wins the big one.

I would agree with that although it doesn't explain EJ Manuel going in the first.

Manuel is pretty athletic for his size. He can run a little bit of the run option. But he also has the arm to play in Buffalo.

I didn't understand the pick. No accuracy and a slow decision maker. He needs a whole lot of development.

It's called having just Kolb who can't compete against Brady,Tannehill and now supposedly Geno Smith and as CC said the Buffalo weather. But he has worked under center quite a bit and has so much athleticism with a big arm he will always be a threat regardless and at least you have a chance. His reads and accuracy will get better in due time. But I think as they say in the draft biz when it comes to QBOTF, if you believe that guy is YOUR guy you go and get him regardless and that is what Buffalo did because I'm sure other teams were salivating as well to some degree.

Everyone trying to come up with excuses for why Barkley has dropped. Could it possibly be as simple as the fact that teams are still concerned about his injury?

I don't know how he as a prospect is all that much different from Christian Ponder.
