I still think the offensive line's a question, until it proves not to be one. Albert and Fisher should have the edges locked up, but I'm still not sure what we have on the interior. Which is I think part of the short/intermediate focus as well.

It certainly makes sense in terms of him getting rid of Mohningweg and going with fresh blood in Pederson, and bringing in two consultants on offense, if his plan is to tailor the offense more to the personnel he has so that he can hit the ground running. Time will tell though. I think at the end of the day it will still reflect the offensive style that Reid has always believed in, but he's a smart enough coach to where he understands the need to evolve as the game itself is evolving...

I believe he already ran a read option offense in college and a west coast offense in the pros. The only new part is the pistol formation which should be a minimal change. Just changing the footwork and timing a bit.

Actually, the reason he couldn't do this, at least if he was running it like Kaepernick and Wilson, is that he can't take the extra contact. He's one of the most injury prone QBs in the league, and if he's carrying the ball on designed running plays 100 times a year he's going to get broken.
