As a disclaimer, I was not involved in the research, and in fact no one knows right now who did the research, though they claim that it was extensive (despite the fact that I'm across the street from the Capitol and never heard about it). The only companies mentioned are marketing companies.

Where will the state logo be used? On printed government paperwork? Road signs? License plates?

Initial reaction is: terrible, looks like an industrial sign warning about cobalt poisoning but I might upgrade that if the design makes more sense for its intended purpose.
