Why no bumping the WR's?

Why do we play such an "aggressive" defense but never bump he WR's? Especially against Manning? We didn't make him ever hold the ball and the one time we did...BAM!

WTF is with Sutton?

Manning struggled with the wind, and the cold. That's the only flaw with saying we should've thrown more deep balls the other night. Conditions weren't really favorable for it. I don't think Manning hit on a single one of those deep balls. Of course we came out and threw one first play, and they rammed it down our throat.

Manning can be robotic. That's why Crennel has so much success against him, just keep everything in front and force him to take the smart, safe play. We actually did the anti-Crennel... played man to man every down and like a robot, Manning just threw fade after fade after fade trying to beat it. He couldn't hit one of them. Last year he did hit all those throws and that's why he absolutely torched us in Arrowhead.

Our corners aren't good enough to win one-on-one consistently so Sutton plays them back, the mentality is to give them stuff underneath and trust their ability to tackle and limit YAC. Honestly the secondary did enough but the donkies were able to run it down our throat and absolutely demolish time of possession. Sutton's D is pretty soft... need a more stout nose tackle to stuff the run (Poe should come in pass-rush situations and be spelled by a fatty run stuffer instead of play 100% of the snaps like he did in this game) or an enforcer/big hitter type in the middle of the field (yes, we do miss having Derek Johnson)

You can't go 3 and out 3 consecutive times vs. an offense like Denver's.

It's asking for trouble and it's the exact opposite of what we did @ Denver. We got pass happy and weren't able to convert 3rd downs...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Idiot.

The Chiefs have the #9 defense in the NFL, and that's after losing two All-Pro's in Berry and Johnson along with one of the best run stopping DE's in DeVito.

He's been working with trash at the ILB and S positions all season long, throwing barely warm bodies at the CB position opposite of Smith and the Chiefs are still the #9 defense in the NFL.

TOP TEN DEFENSE.

And you think he's going to get fired because they lost to Manning?

Idiot.

The second half we held them to FG's and not TD's.

Our offense never adjusted...

It's funny as hell... Sacc talking about top 10 defense..... Meanwhile chiefs are 30th in rush defense. Of course nobody passes because they don't have to when the can run at will.

Talk about making up arguments just to fit your point.

Sac was actually understating it. The Chiefs are the #4 ranked points defense. They are giving up 7.5 points in the second halves of games, which is outstanding. But yeah, we'll cherry pick the one stat that doesn't look good.

It isn't cherry picking to figure out that the lowly Raiders who just got beat by 50 rammed it up our ass.

Give some credit to Denver. They did a good job of bottling up Charles when he did get the ball. The Broncos are just better than the Chiefs right now. It's ok to admit it.

Losing to the Titans and Raiders are the ones that will haunt the Chiefs this year.
