Who was tonight's goat?

In 15 years of Chiefsplanet polling, this may be the most challenging poll I've ever posted. It's a question without a clear answer, and without even a hint of a clear answer. It's like trying to imagine the size of the universe, or how a mass of cells in a brain create consciousness. But it's a question that we must ponder, because we are human beings and that is what we do.

The polling topic is, "Who had the worst game tonight?"

Poll to follow unless I fumble it.

Gotta say (with reservations) that tonight it's Jamaal. When a guy has that much talent, his name should simply never appear in a discussion like this. I mean, all the other guys have inherent limitations that Charles shouldn't ever have to overcome. He should have no excuses. He should never need to explain himself or apologize. The guy is Jim Brown plus, for Pete's sake.

Reid, I just don't understand why Charles even had the opportunity to fumble. If you're going to relent and play for overtime, don't put yourself int he position to turn the ball over. He half-assed the safe move.

You left out billay for starting the game thread. He combined the karma of Nebraska's failure with the Chiefs cursed franchise to create an all time choke job. He needs to ride the pine.

I generally like Sutton, but what happened tonight? At some point you have to recognize that Fleming is completely and unilaterally the target of the opposing team. At some point you have to give him some help. Even if you don't have anything in the playbook, at some point you have to kneel down and draw a play in the dirt and send someone over to give him some help. At some point it ceases being Fleming's fault and it becomes the fault of the person who keeps putting him into that situation.

The thing that's so frustrating is that the Cheaters were completely predictable. They threw at Fleming on every play. When a team is predictable, they're easily beatable. If you know what they're going to do, it makes it very easy to beat them. So why didn't Sutton (or the DB coach) act on that knowledge?

I blame Sutton.

All of the above, but the most inexcusable IMO is Charles on that last fumble. The top priority in that situation has to be hanging on to the ball. And when you've already had one fumble on the night, it ought to be impossible to forget that.

You have to trust your players to make plays. They didn't.
Once they don't make plays, you have to adjust........They didn't.

Once the adjustments don't work, you have to play smart.........They didn't.

They deserved to lose
