I personally don't own any social media accounts and couldn't care less about it.

All I saw from Von Miller during his negotiations was love for the Broncos organization and fans. He acted like a guy that wanted to be a Bronco for life, while Berry has had one foot out the door throughout this process. It's a fair question for a guy that is supposedly the ultimate leader and heart and soul of the team.

Because if there's any player Berry should model himself after it's Von Miller LOL

Please, just stop.

I grabbed that telephone
I thought we were alone
Telling me there's company
Your husband's comin' home
I've been thinking about this Saturday night with you
I've been thinking about it all week long
And now I'm gonna lose it 'cause that
Son-of-a-bitch got me singin' that same old song
Got one foot out the door
Tryin' to hit the road
Ain't no match for your mean old man
I think it's time to roll
Got one foot out the door
Got one foot out the door
Think I'm gonna fight him?
Don't you let him put down
Put that to the floor
Put the pedal to the metal
And you beat it out of town
No comin' back, back for more

Do you every get ANYTHING right? I've already posted my exact quote that I had "no ****ing way" of knowing that he would play week 1. I was simply saying that it was a legitimate possibility based on recent ACL recovery times.

The worst part of all of this is I ****ing love Berry and I defended him through and through up to this point. I absolutely realize that he has been the heart and soul of the team and a great leader on the field and in the lockeroom. The way he's handled these contract negotiations has just soured me a bit.

He's not Jamaal Charles, or Tamba Hali. Simple as that.

So? He's different. Who cares? Tamba got suspended for weed. Does that mean he's not a leader and doesn't care about team success?

He also made a comment about the organization "doing their part" that rubbed me the wrong way.

He's never once acknowledged that the organization has already done their part by making him the highest paid safety from day one and not saving money when they could've in 2014.

And by "doing their part" he means not only being the highest paid safety in NFL history, he wants a little more than that too.

At the end of the day, he'll be here for a couple weeks to get ready for the regular season, and I'm good with that. I honestly thought he would wait till the very last minute, and that would've really pissed me off. As long as he goes out and plays his ass off for his last year in KC, I don't really give a **** that he's all about the money.

Exactly that wasn't really hard to figure out, players have been doing this for as long as I can remember.

They've paid him extremely well and he's played extremely well for them. I don't really see how what he made when he got drafted is relevant at this point.

He's in the prime of his career and wanted to be payed what he felt he was worth. The organization decided not to do that long term. I don't feel the need to really hold that against the player or the organization. It is what it is.

I agree, but then why be the only tagged player to hold out in TC and act all disgruntled? Is he not also being paid fairly this season? Would've been nice to at least have him at TC to mentor Eric Murray and the other young DB's. I think we've paid him enough and "did our part" to deserve that.

It's pretty easy for us to say he's all about the money when given the same situation, the majority of people will try to get every cent they can. I understand he makes more than most of us, but it doesn't means he shouldn't do the very best deal he can possibly do for himself. At the end of it all, his earning years are limited in terms of football, and no one from the organization is going to rush to throw cash at a guy after he's not with the team.

I get that they didn't have to pay his salary when he got sick, but they did it for the PR and some good will as much as they did it for him.
