This loss shows deeper problems than a few players

The way that we lost this game speaks to more than just a couple of players or plays.
This loss speaks to problems deep within. I think we have severe problems within our coaching staff if not further up than that.
We are spiraling down and it appears to be untenable to the staff we have in place even with the help of a bye week.
I have always been a Reid fan, but a lot of the problems he had in Philly have followed him to KC. His play calling, inadequate game prep, stubbornness, strategy, clock management. His inability to make coaching changes and bring his family in and unwillingness to move on from them when they are obviously not working are problems that we all now face as well. There is a lot of parallels between our staff here and the ones he had in Philly.
If we are to change our losing ways some of this staff is going to have to be replaced. Where do start? Who are the coaches/assistants that need to be replaced? Even now instead of waiting until the off season.

What difference does it make if they win the division by being the best of a bad lot? This team has no prayer of winning a playoff game playing like this.

I think was looking for ball right away. Would you rather have your QB throw to outside when there is no one in the backfield of towards the inside where its guaranteed touchdown? The throw inside is always easier to make then outside. Now we both don't know if he was actually running that route or he just got two excited when he got open.

This actually might be a blessing in disquise for chiefs. They are still on top, still have a easy schedule and this will wake the coaching staff and players up a little.

I blame our secondary more than anything this year. They have been the difference in every close game. Did anyone think we'd get by without a pass interference call once Eli decided to throw it up?

I will say this: there is zero pass rush. Zero.

Justin Houston and sometimes Chris Jones is our pass rush.

This loss shows our starting QB cant rally his team. He cant make a play with the game on the line. He cant hide any weakness about his team or even himself.

This loss shows why we drafted Mahomes!!

Honestly the biggest thing that bothers me is how soft the team is and has been since Reid's arrival. Even when the defense is playing well, it's more finesse than violence. The offense can never get the one tough yard on the ground, or put together that long grinding drive that eats the clock and seals the win.

There's no passion unless it's Peters or Kelce crying to the refs. This team is soft as ****.
