Alex Smith: "Felt like couldnt get a single call"

It's unlike smith to blame officiating but it's been pretty evident that we just don't get the calls that other teams get especially during crucial moments. This is probably why kelce wasn't targeted much in second half. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...a-single-call/

Can't explain why the refs hate Kelce so much, but they just do. It's really freakin bizarre.
Apparently there is a difference in talking shit that no one hears and publicly showing them up on national tv.

Or maybe our wildly undisciplined team is committing flagrant penalties left and right. Nelson bear-hugging ASJ for a guaranteed free play comes to mind.

Why is midget Steven Nelson covering a big ass TE?

What do you expect him to do? He's beat before that play even starts.

Opposing defenses know that kelce is paramount to our offensive success and so they play ultra aggressive without it ever getting penalized.

That's a shit call too but it doesn't excuse all of the awful calls I see in every game week in and week out.

I expect things to be called evenly, I also had no idea breathing on a snapper was a penalty, does this mean if your snapper doesn't ever put his head up that means you can't attempt a block?

Once again more rules that no one understands.
I'm with you here. It's the lack of consistency. KC never gets the calls their way. Take for example, Hill had a long throw i belive in the 4th quarter. The player literally jumped into Hill's chest, turned around before the ball was there and then batted the ball down .

That right there is a call EVERY time on KC.

It blows up the narrative that the refs are out to **** the Chiefs. The refs are just bad at what they do.

I don't blame the refs. I blame the rules. There's WAY too much subjectivity in the game these days.

Do you know how to get calls? Be the refs BFF. Being a dick and whining is going to have the opposite of the desired effect.
