LDT worse than we thought

Laurent Duvernay-Tardif - G - Chiefs

Chiefs RG Laurent Duvernay-Tardif (fibula, I.R.) also suffered a Maisonneuve fracture in his leg Week 5 and is now in doubt to return in 2018.
Coach Andy Reid admitted the injury is worse than the team initially thought; LDT was expected to be a return candidate in a minimum of eight weeks. His season is now in jeopardy. A Maisonneuve fracture is a spiral fracture in the fibula associated with a tear of the interosseous membrane.

I agree. I think the O-line is still crap but Mahomes makes it look a LOT better than it is.

Ehh, it’s not his fault. Both injuries were guys rolling up on his leg that were massive linemen.

That’s just tough luck.

He was picked 9th, he likely needs better coaching and honestly as a guard he'd probably be ok, it's easier to play.

The Giants scapegoated him, he wasn't good but he wasn't the only reason the line sucked.

*knocks on wood*

So in a kind of weird twist of fate, since he certainly looked undersized and injury prone early in his career, Eric Fisher has started every single game since Week 3 of 2015, not counting last year's Week 17 backups-only game.

The interior line has been a huge butt**** of injuries here and there, but at least KC has had super-reliable bookends.
