The trade deadline has passed. Veach did not make his move
Or does he do the unthinkable and stand pat? (the only way this should acceptably happen is if there is absolutely no secondary help available)

He's gotta do something, right? There's no way he can think this D is good enough to win it all. And if he uses the, we'll take our chances this year because we didn't even expect to be this good and try to build in the draft-mentality, then **** him.

Chiefs were set to make the Earl Thomas trade til he got injured. Chiefs possibly dodged a bullet there IMO, who knows how long that leg would've held up.

Sounds like AZ has put the "priceless" tag over the rights to Peterson if teams are offering a 1st rd pick and then some and they're STILL turning that down. AZ in a rebuild, not sure who they're trying to fool. Their FO is filled with a bunch of morons if they're turning down those kinds of offers. Peterson isn't winning them a playoff appearance anytime soon. Rams, Seahawks, and JimmyG led 49ers team are all better teams.

Takes 2 teams to tango, and a 1st rd pick + is way too big of a price for Chiefs to pay..they need to hit some HR's on defensive players early in next season's draft and move on from Berry and Houston. Just tired of both of those guys always on the pine and they're the 2 most expensive players on the team. Glad the Chiefs are winning without them, but it'd be nice to get away from both of those contracts and use that money on resigning Hill and others.

Morse is another guy I'd like the Chiefs to move on from. Made of glass. Andy likes his hefties though... he'll probably get his money.

A DS before the inj...quite possibly. But maybe not so much anymore.

I'll say this...DS was a much better player when Berry was playing beside him.

Not so good since Berry's been out.
