Again, all depends on the $... he's an upgrade over Freeman and gives them flexibility. Some are acting like Lindsay was a top 3 RB. Gordon isn't a savior by any means, but he has value and in the right system, could be incredibly valuable with what they're trying to do. I'll bet the contract is reasonable.

I can see why they did it though. Freeman has no ability as a pass catcher and Lindsey is simply not big/strong enough to be an every down back. He can’t pass block.

Before the ball was snapped, defenses had an idea if it was a pass or run based on that. Gordon is extremely average but he is capable of being on the field all 3 downs.

But man I’m glad they overpaid for that guy
