Since things didn't get shut down where I live other than Theatres, Nail and hair Salons and restaurants. There hasn't been much of a change as I don't eat out if I do it is a carry out or delivery thing already. I don't get my nails done. My ex-wife or daughter cut my hair and I don't waste my money on the over priced movie Threatre.

Poll needs a "none of the above" option. You're not getting an accurate read when people just have to click something.

I’d do all of it, although I wouldn’t go to a concert unless someone gave me a free ticket.

I ask because I have a show in July in LA. Show hasn't been officially postponed or cancelled (Venue is closed down). So if we open up before then, the show is still on. I would be hesitant to jump right out there right when things open up as I'd prefer to see how it goes. But this show in LA is one that I must see. |

None on May 1. Risk/benefit is just not there.
We have an international trip toward the end of June. I’m crossing my fingers that 1) virus cases are way down by then both here and our destination, 2) international travel is allowed, and 3) we won’t have to quarantine upon return. For that, the benefit might overcome the risk. |

I've been pondering when I'll re-enter society. I've been quite content with the current situation, aside from having to clean stuff a lot and wear a mask and worry about my supply of paper products. I have relatively low social needs. (If you count the transpacific freighter in 2018, I've done social distancing for two of the last three Aprils.)
When I think about the timeline of returning, relative to when the authorities say it's safe, I'd guess something like this: Restaurant - I'll probably pick up stuff after a month, but I suspect it'll be three or four months before I go sit down in a restaurant again. (I'm picking stuff up now, but with covid protocols. I'm talking about normal stuff like going to the counter.) Hang out in a bar/club - I never do that anyway. If I did, it's probably be 3-4 months like the restaurants. See a movie. I only see a couple a year in theaters, if that. It would probably stop me the first time, so it would probably be 9 to 12 months. (On that note, I had no idea, but a very large new movie theater was built two miles from my house, and it was supposed to open in March. I had no idea it existed, because it's in a direction that I seldom go.) Attend a concert. See the movie description above. This is not a common activity for me. If it was a Chiefs football game? Maybe I'd go at the end of 2020. Maybe not. I'd do a lot of research first. Fly on a domestic plane. I've been doing that once a month for a long time. This is a tough one. I'd do it, but not enthusiastically. I'd probably wait six months past the all-clear sign as a preference, though, since all of my travel is for pleasure and not work. I mentioned in another thread that I've pondered buying a small RV and road-tripping, since I think an RV would be a lot safer. Fly on an international airline. Well, I've already got tickets to London for October, so we'll find out. The twist is that I've got first class tickets because I burned a ton of frequent flyer miles. First class (and in a pod, no less) is a lot different than coach, so I might consider that in October. However, the London part was just because that was where I could go on points, and we were then going to take the train to Italy, and then I was going to take a cruise ship back home. I'm not sure the Italy and cruise part will happen regardless. My wife has an airline ticket back, and I might ponder taking a freighter again. No doctor, but also not many people.

I have to wait and see how it plays out. I am older with lung issues so I will be diligent to make sure things are cool for me.
